The lowdown: 1 litre water company, the winner of the Best Bottle in PET, also introduced the 1 litre sleeve, an elegant stainless steel bottle cover for fine dining aimed at bars, restaurants and hotels. The bespoke bottles are embellished with a laser engraving of the 1 litre logo for a truly upmarket feel and the bottles fit snugly inside, thanks to vacuum fill technology.
The company’s first offering was launched in 2003 and is today distributed across the world. 1 litre Canada is drawn from the pristine Northumberland Forest, a protected conservation area of land and aquifers which the company boasts is free from agriculture or industry. The clean, refreshing taste and optimal mineral balance has won over chefs, wine and water connoisseurs across the globe.
Launched in September 2007, 1 litre USA, the company’s second offering, is artesian water. This is bottled directly at source in lower Michigan on a private 200 acre estate, surrounded by thousands of acres of the protected Au Sable State Forest.
In terms of marketing, the company has sponsored many notable events in recent years including the Toronto Film Festival, Fashion Week events, Oscars Nominee gift bags and the Monaco F1 Grand Prix.
